Membership Requirements: Open to children and youth, ages 3-17, in grades ranging from Pre-School through 12th. The Sunday School grade corresponds to the student's secular school grade.  No fee for registration, books, materials, or Sunday School sponsored events.  New students are always welcome to join.  For the convenience of parents with children under the age of 3, there is a Family Room for children to play. At least one of the children's parents needs to be in attendance. 

Meeting Time: Sunday mornings, 10:30AM-12:00PM, from third week in September to second week in June.

Curriculum: We use the curriculum, "We Believe," developed by the
Diocesan Department of Youth and Education, for students
in Grades Pre-School through 7, and 10.  There is a
special Teen Seminar Program, for teens in Grades 8 and
9, that is comprised of comprehensive courses on Church
History, Unique Theology, Church Calendar, Divine
Liturgy, Scripture, Faith Development and Saints, and
"service" to the church.  Grade 11 is a review of the entire
curriculum and Grade 12 is a service year (to the church).
In addition to class time, grades attend church services,
participate in Assembly programs and engage in a variety
of different programs and activities throughout the year.

     Visit to Armenian Nursing & Rehabilitation Center,
     Jamaica Plain, and Host Losh Kebab Barbecue

Sponsorship of "Santa's Playland" for Children in
      conjunction with Church's Trinity Christmas Bazaar
Sponsorship of Booth at Trinity Christmas Bazaar
Christmas Workshop and Tree Decorating
Presentation of Christmas Pageant in Church
Host Fellowship Hour - Month of January
Participation in Holy Week Activities
Easter and Christmas Communion and Breakfasts for
        Students and their Families
Mother's Special Assembly Program,

Sunday School

Mission: It is the goal of the Sunday School to help our children and youth develop a relationship with the church and with God, grow in their faith, and learn about their Christian Armenian religion, culture, and church history in a conducive and fun-filled learning environment.  Friendships forged in the Sunday School are further strengthened through participation in the Diocesan programs such as St. Vartan Camp, retreats led by the Diocesan Department of Youth and Education, and other church and regional activities.  

Coming Events:

Sunday, January 8, 2012, Pancake Breakfast for the Parish, sponsored by the Sunday School, following church services, Charles and Nevart Talanian Cultural Hall.  The breakfast (pancakes, sausage, orange juice, cereal, fruit, coffee) is complimentary for Armenian and Sunday School students.  For others, donation is $1.99 for children under 10 and $3.99 for youth and adults.
